On 3 March 2023 India and Australia signed a mechanism for mutual recognition of qualifications of both countries. This agreement recognises Australian bachelor degrees in India delivered in traditional on-campus mode. For delivery in online mode, qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis by designated Indian government authorities as with all online degrees conferred from institutions outside of India.

While an online Australian bachelor degree is internationally recognised, the university cannot currently guarantee eligibility for postgraduate study or employment with local public sector institutions.

We know you’ve got a life outside of school and between personal and professional obligations, you may not think you have time to go to uni full time. But studying with VU online means you can adapt your study schedule to your life without sacrificing quality.

Our 100% online courses don’t require you to relocate, commute to campus, or get a visa for studying in Australia. This means you’ll save both time and money while earning your bachelor degree.

Our online curriculum is the same as our on-campus curriculum, meaning you can access your virtual classroom 24/7 without sacrificing quality. While there are weekly live sessions in which you can connect with your instructor and peers, there are no set meeting times so you can study on your own schedule. All meeting times are in IST to ensure you’ll be able to attend, as our students find these to be both helpful and enjoyable.

Our user-friendly virtual classrooms enable you to work through your weekly assignments, self-guided learning, case studies, projects and discussion board topics. Guided by expert faculty, our subjects are specialised and globalised for the Indian audience to ensure you graduate with career-focused skills.

Being an online VU student simply means you receive a strong degree qualification in the comfort of your own home. Our courses have the same curriculum and study plans as our in-person courses, with specialised content to benefit Indian learners.

The courses take place fully on our Learning Management System (LMS), and any textbooks and any external resources you’ll need will be found there.

Our courses are practice based, so the kind of assignments will vary greatly depending on what course you choose. Speak with an advisor to learn more about the workload for your chosen course.
